I had one of the most powerful experiences this week as I watched a video on gratefulness:

Beautiful photos and a wonderful message from a Benedictine Monk. As I watched this 5-minute clip, the words of the monk coupled with the awe-inspiring images instilled a great sense of peace and wonder.

Are you a psychic? Medium? Can you read auras? Are you clairvoyant? Clairsentient? MTV's award-winning documentary series "True Life" wants to delve into what life is like when you are blessed (or cursed) with a paranormal ability. We want to understand the intricacies of the ability, and the emotional and social challenges that come along with having it. Can you communicate with the dead, read auras, interpret images, or predict fates? How did you discover and come to accept your ability? How do you cope with having this unique ability and being different from your peers? Can you control it? Do you put your ability to use, or do you attempt to ignore it? What do your friends and family think of your ability? What do you say to the non-believers? Have you ever scared or freaked anyone out with your ability?

This group was created to explore the shamanic way and to access the answers within you ~ by connecting to your heart, your inner wisdom, and your personal power. I created this group as a gathering place to explore the shamanic way and to access the answers within you ~ by connecting to your heart, your inner wisdom, and your personal power. Shamanism is a collection of tools and techniques that enable us to communicate with the spirit world for the purpose of healing and problem solving. Join us to learn how to bring this ancient indigenous wisdom into our modern lives. Shamanism provides us with a path of power, integrity, compassion and service . . . it’s also a lot of fun!
We’ll gather at 3:30 and start by creating our community altar, then we’ll open the circle. Don't forget to bring a personal item for the altar. You’ll learn how to journey, to enter a shamanic state of consciousness. We'll make time for at least two journeys so you can enjoy the opportunity to connect with your personal spirit guides and allies.
