This workshop will be held at For Heaven’s Sake, Applewood (2680 Youngfield St, Lakewood). The date and time are Saturday 11/1 from 4:00 to 5:30. The cost is $25. You can pay cash at the door (no checks please) or use Venmo @Gregory-Merritt-6, or with Zelle 408.202.4048. Regardless of the payment option, please let me know if you plan to attend. I have two scholarships available (your cost is $10). If your budget is tight, let me know.

Come join us in our celebration of our loved ones - Dia de Los Muertos. The veil to the spirit realm is thin at this time of year; there are many traditions that use this time of year to connect with and celebrate their loved ones. We will use ritual, drumming and guided meditation to connect with our departed loved ones and see what they have to tell us. Perhaps guidance on our life’s journey or letting us know how well we are doing from their perspective. Or simply celebrating your love for one another. Bring your drums, rattles, and flutes.

Think of loved one(s) you would like to connect with and items you would like to bring for the altar. Keep it small, so there is room for all. 

 Here are suggested items to bring:

Picture of your loved one(s)

Their favorite foods and/or food you shared with them.

Any other item that connects you with them

Optionally bring some Marigolds (not a bouquet) for the altar.

Wear your Halloween costume if you like.

Note: The bead order deadline for this event is October 27th. If you miss the deadline you can still attend and will select from the very large inventory of kits at the event. You may also purchase extra kits to make for gifting!

You must provide an email that you check regularly in order to receive necessary correspondence. Please be mindful of bead order deadlines.

Workshop includes a guided meditation to set powerful intentions, all materials and tools needed to make your custom mala, instruction on how to make your mala as well as how to use it in your practices and a follow up packet with all the information from the class to help you remember what you have learned. We will be walking with intention AND WE WILL HAVE FUN!

Cancellation Policy- No transfers. Payments are non-refundable although if you have to cancel you may apply your payment to a future workshop that is not sold out (with your original kit), you may only reschedule one time and must attend within 6 months of your original registration date. After this we will ship your kit via priority mail at a cost of $9 to you. You must give 48 hours notice for your cancellation, if you do not you will forfeit your workshop fee and we will ship your kit for $9. Please keep in mind that cancellations and no-shows often end up resulting in a financial loss. For online events if you cannot attend you will be emailed instructional videos.
